What is Baby Massage?

Baby massage is an art which promotes loving communication between parents (mums and dads), grandparents and other caregivers with their babies, by encouraging bonding and the stimulation of a child’s development. Laura is a firm believer that therapeutic touch is one of the best and most rewarding ways in which you can communicate with your baby.
The first few months after having a baby can be a challenging time for parents, therefore learning baby massage can help to enrich the lives of both the baby and its parents by bringing a sense of fulfilment and contentment.
The ideal age to begin massage with your baby is birth to pre-crawling. You massage your baby whilst being guided through a step-by-step massage routine, which is a carefully balanced combination of body massage, Indian massage, hand and foot massage techniques, as well as soft gymnastics.
Classes include relaxation techniques and topical talks to promote peer support amongst fellow group members, as well as delightful songs to use whilst you are massaging your baby.
